The Fudgiest Triple Chocolate Brownies

Calling all chocolate lovers!!

For those days when you’re craving a rich, decadent, chocolate-y treat, this is the exact recipe you need.

These brownies are so fudgey and delicious, just like the classic box mix, but secretly more nutrient dense. They’re gluten, grain, dairy, nut, sugar, and pretty much everything else free - so they’re able to be enjoyed by everyone, regardless of dietary needs. They’re also made all in one bowl and are so easy to make, the hardest part is waiting for them to cool before cutting into brownies.

But I hope that this recipe shows you that no matter what dietary restrictions you are faced with, you should never feel like you need to give up your favorite foods. And even better, those foods can still taste just as delicious, with a few simple ingredient swaps that work better for you. I could talk about this topic all day, but I will let these brownies speak for themselves.

Go make them!

RECIPE

Ingredients:

  • 1 flax egg (1 tbsp flaxseed meal mixed with 2 tbsp warm water, let sit for a few minutes to thicken)

  • 1/2 cup creamy tahini

  • 1/2 cup monkfruit sugar (sub coconut or any granulated sugar)

  • 2 tbsp coconut milk (sub any plant based milk)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/4 cup cacao powder

  • 1 tbsp arrowroot powder (sub cornstarch)

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 100% dark chocolate bar chopped into chunks (sub any dark chocolate bar for non sugar free)

  • Sugar free white chocolate bar chopped into chunks (sub any white chocolate bar for non sugar free)

Directions:

  • Combine flax egg, tahini, sugar, coconut milk, and vanilla in a bowl until smooth. Mix in cacao, arrowroot, and baking soda and combine until batter forms. Stir in dark and white chocolate chunks and gently mix.

  • Spread across a square baking pan, top with more chocolate, and bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes or until knife comes out clean. Be careful not to over bake, they will firm up!

  • Top with more chocolate and sea salt. Let cool completely before slicing into brownies.

ENJOY!
